Three Ages of Buildings / 時代が三つ重なる建物 / 三個世代的建築

これはアッパーウェストサイドのどこかで撮った写真だ。写真の前に昔ながらの教会があって、左側、奥の方におそらく８０年前に建てられたアパートビルがある。そして、真ん中に最近建てられたマンションが聳え立っている。近くにそれぞれの時代の建物が集まっていることが面白いと思って撮ってきた。

I took this photo somewhere on the Upper West Side.  On the right is an old-style church building.  To the left is what looks like a pre-war apartment building.  In the middle is one of those plastic towers that they've been putting up all over the place recently.  I liked how the three different styles of buildings lined up here.
